PR-tips för hur man lanserar en webbtjänst
Vi ska som bekant på 24hbc och för tillfället lutar det åt att vi tar oss an uppgiften att lansera två (!) sajter istället för en (som dock är rätt lika varandra, dock inte i samma nisch). Mer om det senare men eftersom det alltsomallt ska lanseras 52 webbprojekt på 24hbc tänkte vi dela med oss av lite tips om hur man lanserar en webbtjänst. Det räcker som bekant inte med att bygga något, vill man lyckas krävs det att man får uppmärksamhet och besökare.
Lanseringsarbete FÖRE lansering:
- Redan innan sajten lanseras bör en ”snart kommer”-sida finnas på domänen, inkl. ett e-postformulär där de som är intresserade av att få veta när tjänsten lanseras kan signa up. Optimera gärna titeln på sidan och se till att sidan får några länkar så den indexeras av Google. SEO-arbete tar tid och ålder på domän är viktigt, så det finns många bra sidor av att göra så.
- Starta en blogg på webbtjanst.se/blogg. Blogga om hur utvecklingsarbetet går, om bransch- och nisch osv.
- Se till att tjänsten är tillräckligt bra och snygg. Vad berättar du för vänner? Finns inget att berätta om, berättar ingen. Se till att webbtjänsten är något NÅN vill berätta om.
Lanseringen av tjänsten:
- Skriv pressrelease och lägg upp på Newsdesk. Glöm inte inkludera länk till webbtjänsten. Publicera även i bloggen. Skicka pressreleasen (inkl. blogginläggsurl:en) till journalister och redaktioner. Internetworld, Dagens Media mfl är ofta relevanta för webbtjänster men tänk även på att lokaltidningar gärna skriver om hur duktiga de lokala entreprenörerna är.
- Fundera på om det vore värt att ge ”scoopet” till en enskild journalist kvällen/dagen före. Ring och fråga om de är intresserade. Kan även vara en större bloggare (Techcrunch ftw!).
- Blogga lite mer personligt på bloggen.
- Skicka ut ett mail om lanseringen till de som signat up sig på e-postformuläret på sajten.
- Skicka ut mail till relevanta bloggare. Skriv personliga mail, var vänlig och ge inte intrycket av att de hamnat på en e-postlista utan ”berätta om något intressant” istället för att ”tipsa om något intressant”. Bloggar kräver en annan behandling än journalister.
- Utnyttja befintliga sociala nätverk! Posta blogginlägget på Pusha (för att ge länkar och besök direkt till sajten), posta länk på Facebook, skapa fan-page på Facebook och bjud in alla vänner, posta länken på din microblogg (retweets gör Twitter extremt viral) och blogga om det på din vanliga blogg. Amerikanska tjänster som också bör kikas på, speciellt om webbtjänsten är internationell, är Digg, Stumbleupon och Delicious. Det kan även vara värdefullt att ha en ”tweet this”, pusha- respektive digg-knapp osv direkt på sajtens förstasida under lanseringsdagen för att göra det lättare att tipsa kompisar.
Några andra (lite dyrare) saker man kan göra vid lanseringar är att köra bannerkampanjer, adwords-kampanjer och streetreklam.
